You can load the normal tsl files containing whatever tones you have created in Boss Tone Studio, into the app, you can then write any particular tone into a location on the amp or just select it and play straight away. It also has a virtual GFAC pedal for us poor 50 owners
you can also edit tones as well. It is well worth installing on your android phone or tablet. Highly recommended

Thanks for the information on the Katana App I have downloaded it and will give it a try. Looks like a big improvement if needing to access lots of different sounds for gigs and at home.
You need an adaptor USB cable to suit phone or tablet and there is a small price to access the full version of the app. Info is on the app info in Play apps.

Very impressive sound from the Katana Roger though I really would like to hear it along with just a backing track. I am sure that it would sound great as well.

Thanks for the thoughts Kurt. The sound is definitely there I assure you, but yes would be good to do it with just the backing.. That might ease some commentators with doubts , but on headphones you can hear my guitar quite clearly and Hank's guitar to compare, which is why I do it like this in my recent series of recordings,

Another one recorded on mobile phone using Boss Katana 100mk2 head . All sound and EQ on Katana and used 3rd party backing this time, rather than playing along to the Shads.

There's no denying the sound is as good as it gets there Roger. Most guys would be delighted with that sound.
