Audacity- still suitable?

Postby Tigerdaisy » 06 Aug 2021, 13:28

How do members rate Audacity as a DAW device these days- I only want a simple to use bit of software which will do a few tracks and a drum track. I understand some Russians have bought the software- how does this impact the future? Cheers!

Must admit I gave up on PC-based DAWs a while ago. Fed up with constant Windows updates and driver problems. I now use Multitrack DAW on my iPad. No latency, no driver problems, easy to learn and use, but with great professional features. It supports AUv3 units and upto 32 tracks.

Since using it, never had any problems, plus the developers are easily contactable and respond quickly.
