Someone asked me if its ok to mix guitar and backing tracks to play through an MV50.
The question - will it damage the Mv50.
My own personal choice would be - no - its a guitar amp. I would think about the low end - maybe turned up Bass to try and get the sound would be too much?
Anybody any comment on this.

If the MV50 is one of those compact Vox heads on sale a year or two back, it's hard to see how putting an audio signal through it could cause damage.

I've got two of these amps - the Clean and the AC. I think they're both superb, and I think you may be able to play a BT through and get the right sound but it would be on different settings to the guitar. My feeling is that if you mixed the guitar and the BT through it one of them will sound right, but not both.
