Anyone using Match EQ plugin to get 'That Sound' ? (Pro Logic)
Apparently you get a music part you want to copy the sound of. eg isolate a guitar part you want to mimic the sound of.
You then apparently record your version of that isolated solo part.
You use Match EQ to analysis the isolated part and your recorded version of it , then Match EQ comes up with an EQ to apply to your part that matches the sound of the original.
Sounds good in principle and have seen examples of it put to use, but not on Shadws sounds.
Anyone given it a try ?

Hi Roger,
How would you isolate just a guitar part of a recorded number?

We have discussed making ba king tracks from original recordings before, the removal of a part from a recording . The isolation of a part 'acapella' is also achieved in a similar way . There are articles around on how to do these using both software and hardware methods.
