Thank you for that advice Richard, no doubt I will have questions as I get stuck into what it can do. I will put a micro usb stick in there as you suggest and any other tips to a new user are welcome.
Gary, I will most certainly be using my TVS3 from the off, with the Vox AC15 profile, just to hopefully hear that magic of the Vox/Meazzi combination. I was pleasantly surprised of the sound of the TVS3 with the Spark amp.
I am of course always interested in whether or not a device is capable of delivering the echos and accurate timbres of the vintage kit and I will be exploring that avenue. I have heard some demos on Youtube of people using the delay and it is very encouraging to say the least, but it all depends on which parameters are editable whether or not it could get close. I collect the Kemper Stage Profiler on Sunday, so I'll know more after then. :)

Many thanks for the reply Dave, I thought that would be your most likely starting point, I’ve been following your progress with the Spark amp and now looking forward to seeing how you get on with the Kemper!

Best regards

Meanwhile I am trawling Youtube to hear what people are getting out of it. As usual it's mainly a bloody awful noise that equates to a dirge of distortion.
There are the rare ones where the guys are playing clean though, so I am encouraged by that. :)

Not sure if you mean rig as in rig manager on Pc or you mean a rig / profile within Pc recording suite.
I haven’t used the Kemper for recording as I still have an old hard drive multitrack around here somewhere! Old school I know. Plus lack of time. Anyway ! One thing I forgot to mention and strongly recommend to anyone who has a good PA try the Kemper through it . The Sounds just astounding once you got your EQ just right.

Hi Tony,
I meant the Rig Manager mate.
Seems like everyone on YouTube mentions an iPad, but not a PC.

Hi Dave

Not sure if it would work as I've never used a kemper or the like but maybe you could try profiling the amp with the meazzi/TVS3 in the chain with the echoes off, hopefully that would also capture the effect of over the dry tone and add your echoes from the kemper.

I'm prepared to try all of those options once I get an understanding of how it works. Not long to wait now so looking forward to Monday when I'll be back home with it in solitude to give it a good work out. :)
