Hi Derek and Rob, yes I certainly agree with Rob in that an FAQ section would be invaluable.

I’m one of those new members myself (not quite 3 months yet) and I have to admit that I am, without doubt, most probably going over old ground all the time with the questions I post on this forum. The trouble is that I keep thinking I’ve found a new topic worth investigating – and would you believe it, it has already been discussed, debated and been assigned to the archive! Unfortunately I’ve no way of knowing that, except by trawling through something like 3070 topics (as of today’s date) just to find out!

I can very much appreciate the work involved with constructing an FAQ section if it is to cover every one of the topics – it’s not a task for the faint hearted – especially if it’s one person undertaking it on their own – it would, I suspect, involve rather a lot of midnight oil burning!

Anyway, I digress – Rob’s guitar collection really sounds superb – if it’s already on this site, is there a link I can click to take a look?
Just from what’s seen on Rob’s avatar there appears to be a wall full of red Strats – wow, that is truly impressive!

Would there be any chance for us “new ‘uns” here, to take a look at the full collection? Alright, I know we’re all going to go a nice dark shade of green with envy – but it’s nice to know there are some incredibly enthusiastic collectors out there. If I could win the lottery I’d certainly join them!

Cheers,

Alan.
