You can only buy it through Ebay nowadays because Korg no longer makes them, but they're very inexpensive. You stick your guitar into it and you stick it into your PC, or into your amp, or into a PA system . . . which means that you can sound like you're playing through a Vox AC15 or AC30 without actually having to use an amp at all. And the little Ampworks fits into you pocket. Very neat for a person with a bad back.

Without any desire to hijack this thread, here, for you Mark, is a sample of the VoxAC15 sound through the little Ampworks. It's a sound file I made a few days ago. Does it sound anything like an AC15 to you, or is it pure autosuggestion ??

Yeah they're fantastic - I use one as a backup in case my amp goes wrong.
