A friend has this guitar and is wondering what it is. It is probably made in Japan 1974.

It looks like Telecaster copy,the volume control knob looks like it`s missing.It might be of interest to a collector try to sell on E-Bay

It could even be a genuine Fender Telecaster, though heavily-modified into something much less attractive.

it doesn't look like any Teisco I've ever seen.
I'm sure it's a Telecaster or more likely a Tele copy (in the Tokai/Squier class) which has been (somewhat pointlessly) customised.

I think the lower horn looks a bit too long to be a genuine Tele. Could be a modded copy>
