Stolen Famous Guitars.

Postby Hank2k » Sat Jan 29, 2011 7:41 pm

Was watching a documentary on Buddy Holly earlier on today and they mentioned his stratocaster, i never knew this but apparently he actually owned 4 in the few short years he had, 2 of them were stolen. Add this to the burns the shadows had stolen theres a few guitars missing out there, guitars that may never come to light

Jimi would probably have smashed it to bits or set it on fire anyway

The others would truly have been missed. :(

And let`s not forget Eric Clapton`s 1960 Gibson Les Paul, as used on John Mayalls Bluesbreakers famous "Beano" album.
Gibson is cashing in right now with their Custom Shop model of that same lost guitar.
