Vox T-25 -- Great amp !!!

Postby Bojan » Tue May 10, 2011 12:00 pm

Recently I acquired a lovely little bass amp, the Vox T-25, made in Korea around 2000, 2001 . . . It has a 10" speaker plus a tweeter horn in a closed back. It also has a special "bassilator" switch for added bass response. What I like the most about it is that it has four tone controls: bass, low-mid, high-mid, and treble. Needless to say, it is a great little bass amp, with a very convincing Vox tone, but what is important for me, it is perfect for both lead and rhythm and delivers a sound that can easily match a Vox AC15 (well, near enough, anyway :) ) . . . It delivers a far better Vox tone than my Cambridge 30 Twin Reverb . . . definitely. And it's small and relatively light for carrying, yet loud enough for gigging. I recommend it 100% . . .
