I've never heard of Seminole Red!!!

Don't know whether it's the quality of my monitor, but I can't see a lot of difference.

One of my friend who worked in the paint industry sampled the fiesta red colour from several guitars with professional tools. Here is the result :

As you can see, there are mores differences than with the above two guitars.

Is there a point to all this or am I missing something here?
If you want to know what the original colour was in 1959 there's some pictures in my album on this site of a real original untouched 1959 Strat in fiesta red (or whatever you want to call it) - it's simple, no colour swatches or re-issues from whenever, it's what it is - the real deal.
Here's the link.

For what it's worth, I think that the real point is that many of the Fender guitars (Strat, Precision, Jazz and Jazzmanster) sold in Europe in the 1960s as "red" (the designation used by both Jennings and Selmer) were probably not Fiesta Red at all, but one of these later reds whose names are not so well known.

As an addition to that, I wonder whether many of the players on a quest for the red originally seen on 34363 are really influenced by the colour scheme from the period when the Shads were using the all-red batch(es) of guitars (mid-1961-early 1963) - which may not have been even intended by Fender to be Fiesta Red.

To colour sample number 3 you can also add the MIM HBM Signature.
