Restoring Cymbal Logos

Postby suspend6 » Fri May 28, 2021 3:54 am

Sorry if this is a little off-topic.

I have picked up a couple of older Zildjian cymbals that have naturally suffered some wear and tear, particularly the logos. Some don't care about them, and are happy to see them worn or polished off over time, others (like me) like to see them preserved.

Is there a black ink or felt tip pen that does the job? I see Sabian make kit with a supplied pen, and wonder if the ink is something special, or somebody has sucessfully used something else.

Regards, Phil
