Very unusual and very interesting. Later on, the man who really mastered the stand-up drumming art for me was Andy Sturmer of Jellyfish.

A local Wolverhampton group 'The Californians' who sang mostly Beach Boys/close harmony stuff in the mid sixties had drummers/vocalist who always stood at their kit
