Did anyone else spot former sky drummer Tristan Fry playing the timpani with the London Chamber Orchestra at the Royal Wedding? How ironic that it was almost exactly 30 years ago since he had played at Westminster Abbey with sky and that was shown on BBC1 too! Or was it BBC2?
Anyway, well done Tristan.
Come to think of it, Brian Bennett had some music used during the BBC's coverage of the 1981 Royal Wedding, so what's going on here? I wonder if Hank or Bruce, or John Williams, will write something or perform at the next one? Let's hope so...
