Hi Ron
I've looked on e-bay and seen your APK kit listed and sold. It was the same as an APK kit I used to have. Piano black. Brian Bennett's favourite colour apparently. He had the black Trixon kit and a black Ludwig kit. How did you get on with the over size mounted toms. I used to think that they were just that bit too big.
So what kit are you playing now? Do you still have the blue Ludwig kit?

Still have my blue Ludwigs and don't think I will ever part with them. I have a Premier Artist Series which was Dave Harrisons kit prior to his illness.
As for the toms on the APK, yes they were big but the sound from them is something special, I put Evans G2 heads on all toms and they growled.
Two kits is plenty so no more
