Baldwin S Bass

The two Green S guitars were 2591 2592.
The bass is 2590. They seem very low numbers for Baldwin.

What a beautiful bass! I have never seen that before, nor even knew for sure if it ever existed. Do you know where it is now?

Hi Bill!

I presume the guitar on the left is a Virginian prototype?

I also really like the Marvin prototype BTW! Must have been one that somehow 'escaped' when superseded!

That's puzzling, because the Virginian was, of course, preceded by the GB65, which had the same body as the eventual Virginian.

I wonder why a Virginian prototype wouldn't be equipped with the available GB65 body?
