I had to watch it with the sound off, but Chris is definitely correct.

Many years ago I did a rehearsal with a left-handed bass player who used a right-handed Precision, just turned upside down. I couldn't even watch him, as it kept putting me off!

Strangely, Alan Longmuir later switched from bass to guitar during the latter part of the Rollers career. I'm not sure how he strung his guitar as the pictures I can find are all too small to tell. Certainly I can see exactly why a left-handed person would naturally hold a guitar upside down although it's not something that I have seen done that often and I still can't quite understand how this can be done without it sounding 'wrong'. Oh well.
