Project bass

I am thinking of building my own bass from a kit . I have seen a few about the net. I would prefer a jazz bass style as I am told they have a thinner fret board close to the nut. Can anyone recomend a good DIY jazz kit? Does anyone know of a local supplier that sells kits in the N Ireland area?

Hi David,
Don't think you will find anyone stocking kits in N Ireland. Be aware that building from a kit can be more expensive than buying a complete guitar,especially at some of the very good value prices nowdays.
