Jet remembered- Bass Mag-May 2011

There is a two page article remembering Jet in the just released issue 66 of Bass Guitar Magazine. Written by Laurence Canty there are snippets about Jet that I was not aware of eg after breaking his Framus the Fender arrived just in time.
I quote "The next day the Fender Precision turned up. I was presented with it on stage, still in it's cardboard box, otherwise I'd been miming with a tennis racquet."
It' s well researched, and as far as I am aware, has some information on Jet previously unknown to me.
A fascinating and fitting tribute to Jet. Bass mag is now available from most good newsagents or can be purchased online. Well worth reading.
Anyone know Laurence Canty ? He has certainly done his homework.

Mr Canty is a regular writer on bass topics in various magazines.
