Which Shadows pieces require an echo for bass?

Postby abstamaria » Wed Jul 25, 2012 12:30 am

Please excuse this very basic question, but for which Shadows pieces should the bass guitarist use an echo? This was answered in part before, but I am unable to find that post.

If The Shadows did use an echo for the bass guitar, did the echo volume and pattern change for each piece? It is difficult enough to hear the bass lines in some pieces.

Many thanks.

I think the ones I'm thinking of use reverb rather than echo (Quatermassters Stores - Kon Tiki)

Hi Andy,

Have a listen to "A Better Man Than I" on the "From Hank, Bruce, Brian and John" album.
