Just heard Bruce Forsyth has died.
Bruce introduced Cliff & The Shadows many times on Sunday Night At The London Paladium in the early 60s and I remember on one performance he joined them and they did Bo Diddley.

Yes i do remember Bruce introducing Cliff and The Shadows on Sunday Night at The London Palladium ,one occasion was when they had come back from Australia late 1961 ,first The Shadows came on and played The Savage this could be the only time that they performed The Savage live on TV a mate of mine recorded it on his tape recorder as well as the rest of the act with Cliff .I wonder if this show was recorded on tape for TV .

I can remember one show on the Paladium, it was the time when Bruce (Welch) was supposed to be leaving The Shadows although it never happened.
Bruce (Forsyth) said to them, ''You'll have to find another Bruce or you'll be 3 shadows and one bit of sunlight.''
