Jet always made reference to Duane with his usual dry humour, and then played "Theme For Something Really Important" written for Duane by Jeff Lynne!

Duane's "Kommotion" captivated me.. I beat the heck out of my second hand, acoustic to get a raucous twang...

Rest easy big man...

Another legend sadly gone. Like all the other rockers (Jerry Lee, Carl Perkins, etc.) totally original and a great inspiration to so
many. Sadly missed but thankfully through DVD, CD and Vynil Will always be here in spirit.
RIP Duane.

For me Duane was the man before The Shads came along. 'Because they're young' - correct me if I'm wrong but I think this was from a movie by the same name. If so I'd like to see it. And of course I remember "dance to the Guitar man" / 40 miles of bad road" etc and the one attached I recorded a while back "The ballad of Paladin".

R.I.P. Duane you made it all happen for so many.
