Lyricist and producer Mike Hawker died on May 4th, but obituaries are only appearing now. He wrote hits for Helen Shapiro, Dusty Springfield and many others.
Collaborated with Brian Bennett, notably Wind of Change for Clodagh Rodgers in the 1971 Song for Europe, and writing most of the tracks for an album by the JJ Band - which they also produced.
