I have received this email from Peter Kirby:-
.... I have been asked to let you know that John Hall sadly passed away this morning.

Can you send out a round robin mail to notify John’s many friends in the club please. I am happy to take calls if anyone wants to chat.

Apparently he died at about 11 am this morning. He had been suffering ill health for some time, and it is so sad that his end has come.

God Bless.

He helped many people not just with his guitar playing and expertise but in so many of his other interests. He will be very much missed.
He was one of the experts at the South Wales Shadows Club.

Deeply saddened by this news. Had not seen John very often in recent years, but like Alan kept in touch via Facebook. A really nice guy, and a sad loss.

Hi All

Just to let you know:-
His funeral will take place at 11.00 a.m. on Friday 16th May at the Woodfieldside Funeral Home, Blackwood; followed by Blackwood Cemetery at 12.00 noon.

I have just found out that John had passed, I for one will miss him spent many hours on the phone talking over the years.
He had a great sense of humor I enjoyed his playing very much. R.I.P my friend
