Rapiers New Bass Player...

Some of you may already know that the new bass player with the Rapiers is Lee Restarick.

Many of you will know Lee from the Undercover Shadows and his own private gigs. Apart from playing bass, Lee is a great lead guitarist, rhythm player and vocalist - check out his Youtube uploads - excellent.

He was thrown into his first gig with the Rapiers with only six days notice when Nathan was unable to commit to his final gig on Friday. However, Lee did an excellent job, unrehearsed, and the private gig went down a storm resulting in a return booking.

I wish Lee all the best with his new position in the best 60s group since the 60's.

Congratulations,Lee. I'm sure we all agree that The Rapiers set the standard for the rest of us; so to be invited to fill Nathan's shoes is the greatest (and greatly deserved) honour. The very best of luck.
