Just come in from the encore showing of Cliff's 60th tour at Cineworld nd read this.

Absolutely shocked - remembering Spencer was one of the four who headed to Madrid for the final concert by Los Jets - and what a weekend that was! - and he was also involved in the organisation of the fan gathering at the Bonnington at the end of the Shadows Final Tour.

Happy memories, but they don't lessen the shock of his passing.

George

We've lost a true friend and an accomplished musician. Spence has been a musical icon to many of us and I'll most certainly miss his friendship, support and musical encouragement. You've left us a cherished musical legacy Spence.

Always remembered. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUcrWDvB8ok

I have just heard from the family via Peter Jones (Spence's long-standing friend) that the funeral service will be held at Barham Crematorium at mid-day on Tuesday 6th November.

Barham Crematorium is on the A260 Canterbury - Folkestone road just south of the point where it departs from the A2.
