Thanks to all for your kind words. I'm pleased to report that I can walk and speak quite easily, but, sadly, my guitar playing is broken and trying to play is really demoralising. But I'm alive to spend time with my wonderful wife who is caring for me.

So sorry to read this, I wish you a speedy full recovery.

I know just how you feel, similar thing happened to me five years ago ,screwed up my life and guitar playing ,manage to do a lot of things but never the same ,hope you recover enough .

Although I have never met Mr Martin, I was fortunate to see him perform with Legend at Pipeline and Shadowmania, but did manage to pass on my thanks to the bass player (sadly departed, I believe).

His advice on this forum has been very helpful to me. I hope that he has a speedy recovery from his ill health and is at some point able to continue to share his knowledge with others, via this forum.
