Really gutted about this.

I absolutely loved The Sweeney and I know that Dennis was a good friend of BB. I remember our old mate Waffles telling me that, when Dennis was recording one of his albums at Honeyhill, he would play football with him in the back garden. Those albums were good, got them both. And let's not forget that Brian's music was an integral part of so many episodes of The Sweeney.

I'll be watching a couple of Sweeney episodes tonight.

R.I.P. Dennis. A true legend of British TV.

It seems he was with us forever and was no age to go. Recall seeing him as William, back in the day, and having to leave the show when he grew too tall for the part!
