Sad news about super-talented David Crosby, although it's a miracle he lived to 81 - given his lifestyle! Bruce used to refer to 'Crosby, Pie and Mash' when discusssing their influence on Marvin, Welch, Farrar. No other Shads connection I can think of - except that Neil Young (The Croz's bandmate in CSN&Y) put 'Hank B. Marvin' at the top of a list of important people on the back of the second Buffalo Springfield LP.
