They recorded an album in 1992, at Brian's Honeyhill Studios, and Mo was instrumental in getting it released on CD, by AngelAir records, in 2003. It's a great album. Sadly, along with Mo, Steve Gray and Paul Hart have also now passed away.

You're right, I forgot to mention that album. I also have a copy.

What a lovely tribute. Apart from Shadowmania, I never saw Mo live. I was due to go and see him in London but the gig was cancelled. One of my regrets.

We were in London for a stopover on our way home from holiday on 2nd May and were able to attend Mo's gig at the Pizza Express Jazz Club. Mo was clearly unwell but made light of his condition. We have a photo taken at the gig as a poignant reminder of a very talented but very modest musician.

Mo's book Seventeen Watts? was indeed a classic; part autobiography, part history of early British rock guitar. When I lent it to my brother, it took two years to come back! It had been passed round his mates, who were all the right age to enjoy it.

(I once asked Alan Jones if he'd read it. He said, "Read it? I'm in it!")
