Following several years of lung problems, guitarist Denny Laine passed away in Florida on December 5th from interstitial lung disease, at the age of 79. In the 60s, he had been a founding member of the Moody Blues, and in the 70s, Paul McCartney's Wings.
His passing means that the only surviving founding member of the Moodies is Mike Pinder, and of Wings, Paul McCartney and Denny Selwell.
