GREAT GIG AT THE REGAL.

Postby Geoff Alderton LH » Thu Sep 24, 2009 2:58 pm

Hi all. Just under 200 fans turned up to see '' The Sound Of Cliff & The Shadows'' at the Regal Ballroom in Ripley. There to provide that sound were our good friend's The Rapier's and Kytsun 'Cliff' Wolfe. The guy even looks like Cliff. Over two hrs off Cliff & The Shad's music set in the stainless steel, laser show, coloured smoke atmosphere of the new re furbished ballroom. It's a great venue with great bar staff and a manager who cant do enough for the customers. Regards Geoff.

Geoff

I can't believe this - I live about 150 yards away from the Regal and was totally unaware that the Rapiers were appearing there!
I must have missed out on the adverts for the show- still hopefully there will be a next time. C'est la vie!

Best Wishes

Tony

Hi Tony, I have to say I saw no advertising or billboards at the venue or in the town. Living so close to the Regal I am supprised you didnt hear the 60's music that was blasted out by the resident DJ before the show and during the interval. It was measured at 112db. Still it was a fantastic show. Regards Geoff.
