Peter Frampton - EFTP

Postby Lee Restarick » Mon Mar 28, 2011 10:27 am

Interesting interview with Peter Frampton in the April edition of Guitar and Bass Magazine, speaking about his album...
In brief..

"The epic instrumental track 'Suite Liberte' features this strat (modelled on Hank Marvin's original) , and Frampton took Marvins advice to get the best results. 'The beginning section is the Hank strat through his echoes from the past box which Hank told me about. Someone had laboriously gone through every Shadows song and modelled the multi-tap delays on Hank's old tape echoes - you dial up Apache and there it is! I first put these delays through a '59 Fender Tweed Deluxe and it sounded unbelievable'.....
