Jim

Have a listen to some of his acoustic 12-string stuff on the 'Twelve string story' albums

Yes his 1964 solo LP titled " The Astounding 12 String Guitar of Glen Campbell" is impressive as an acoustic showcase.
He also made an album under the title "The Electric 12" by the Bandits which features him on Rickenbacker 12 String model.
This also features Jerry Cole and Hal Blaine and other guys who "filled out the impressive jangle on the Byrds mid 60s offerings.
The album features an instrumental version of You Want Have to Cry which is interesting to compare to the Byrds version.
