Workout 14 Yakety Axe

Postby Phil McGarrick » 13 Feb 2010, 23:25

A friend brought round Workout 14 last night so I could have a listen. - Ian has done a great job.
The track that stands out for me is Yakety Axe.
The Same track Dave R has done on CD Lead 9.

If you like Yakety Axe here are a few links to help you learn it.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=smplqf0FYCk (Chet's video)

Then the FREE TAB is available here : -(click MUSIC Tab, then Chet Atkins )
http://www.frettedinstrumentsnyc.com/

Look for Yakety Axe NEAR THE BOTTOM. Then you can download the tab, but to view the TAB (FREE) you will need Tabedit program Here :-

http://www.tabledit.com/download/index.shtml

It's REALLY GOOD as you can slow down the music (from within the program - click on the MIDI tab ) and gradually build up speed until you have got it at full speed.

If you like Chet stuff that website is really useful.
