It's essentially the sound of a 12-string guitar, albeit one that is fitted with a set of six-string bass strings and a set of "ordinary" guitar strings as the octave set. Another way to do it (though this is not very helpful for live on stage purposes) is to use a bass guitar and an electric guitar playing "in unison" (really, an octave apart).

Do you mean the tabs or something ?

I've got a Roland GR55 that would do it to perfection live.

This is exactly what Ian McCutcheon and I do on stage. Seems to work. It doesn't need a separate bass line, the rhythm guitar is enough.
