1950's Suit

Postby playitcoolmusic » Wed Apr 15, 2015 11:37 am

Hi...does anyone out there know where I can get a '1950's' style suit i.e. similar to what Cliff wears in The Young Ones :)

Thanks
Neil

I would have thought pretty much anywhere!

That style of suit is currently fashionable again! Lots of trendy young blokes seem to wear them at present.

The Scottish Television Weatherman, has been sporting a natty 2 piece grey suit lately,
very much in the Rapiers style!!!!
Maybe he has been in touch with Colin Pryce-Jones for the address of their tailors!!!

At my age, baggy trousers are a blessing!

I couldn't get into one of those slimline tight fitting late '50's/early '60's suits these days- the trousers alone are lethal when you sit down and cross your legs...
