Just over a fortnight to go and tickets are doing OK for us considering we're unknown down there, just over a half full with over two weeks to go.
Thanks to those of you on here who will be there, be sure to come and say hello at the end, we'll be around for a chat.
Apart from the Cliff & Shads stuff, we cover all the good stuff from our era including The Everlys, Beatles, Billy Fury, even Acker Bilk, Chuck Berry and many more and our guest vocalist Stan Fuller does all the Four Seasons, Beach Boys, Bee Gees, Rubettes and a bit of Orbison, all ably backed vocally by the lads. Originally from North London, Stan was bassist and high voice in the band 'Magic' back in the 70s through to the 90s and his voice is amazing. I re-acqauinted myself with Stan by accident as he was at my agent's funeral (John Bridges from Dukeries) who passed away up in the North East, which was a quirk of fate as that's where Stan had re-located himself for twenty years as a pub landlord. John was from Mansfield but died up in the North East amongst family there, hence the funeral at Bishop Auckland last year. So there you have it, a 1000,000 /1 chance meeting with a guy I knew thirty odd years ago and we gain a new band member who happens to be a singing sensation. Stan needed a band like us and reckons that our meeting was fate, a parting gift for both of us from John. I'm working on moving further around the country if we can pull in enough people, already earmarked theatres as far away as Exmouth, Southend, Whitley Bay, South West Scotland, exciting times eh ?
