I get the feeling that Hank and Bruce took a leaf or two out of his book too!
The funny thing was, Roger Moore actually WAS a pretty good actor. Yes, he was perhaps limited in his range, but what he did, he did brilliantly. I think he always put himself down because he never had that much confidence in his own abilities and wanted to get the digs in before anyone else could. I always love that closing sequence from 'The Spy Who Loved Me', which is a hell of a good film, released in the summer of '77.
