Yes, that was the correct answer.

Sorry, I forgot to put an update here as well as over on the World of The Shadows FB group.

"Dorinda Sings For You" was a fake LP sleeve.

Dorinda was a character in the film (played by Sonia Cordeaux). She was supposed to be famous, and the LP sleeve was dramatic verisimilitude.

The "Hits from The Young Ones" EP sleeve can be seen (for a week) here:

L-R, the first three LP sleeves above the stage are Chubby Checker, Instrumental Imports and Eydie Gorme and Steve Lawrence Sing The Golden Hits.

In the early 80s I worked as a 'catering assistant' at Fenwicks in Brent Cross. There was a strikingly beautiful girl also working there called Ilona who said her mum was 'Dorinda' in The Young Ones and that she was still friendly with Cliff!

BTW...I've got the Saturday Club LP! I bought it around 1985 for £12 from the Notting Hill Record and Tape Exchange because it had two tracks by Johnny Kidd and two tracks by Bert Weedon which at the time you couldn't get anywhere else. Also Saturday's Child by The John Barry Seven. That was the peak of my record collecting days!

In the past I've wondered, in the context of dress, whether the Shads appeared in the clothing they happened to be wearing that day when they arrived on set, or if there was any directorial or other input from the wardrobe department.

Hank is typically smart in dark suit, collar and tie, whereas Jet, Bruce and Tony are informally dressed, perhaps more representative of a youth club setting of the period.
