A few years ago now, they made another version of All Quiet on the Western Front. As it was in colour it stood out a mile that all all the leather webbing, ammo pouches etc were wrong. But, to be fair, uniforms are a real minefield (please excuse pun!).

I also agree with the above posts, that any railway loco is usually wrong, given that British Rail did not exist before 1948. But the Bluebell Railway do try very hard.

Does provide something of interest to look out for, if the film etc is not up to much.(i.e. most recent incarnation of Dr Who).
