Diamond is a special limited edition CD single, it is a song from you the fan to Cliff. Sold exclusively through Leos Den Music Direct.

This is a unique opportunity to own a copy of the song specifically written for Sir Cliff as a thank you from his fans for 60 years of music and dedication. There have only been 1,000 copies of Diamond pressed and 998* of them will be available to buy from us. So once it is gone, it is gone!

An actual copy of the CD single will be beautifully mounted in a frame and presented to Cliff by Helen Hobson (Cathy to Cliff's Heathcliff). *Along with the mounted copy there will be an actual copy for Cliff to play.

The track Diamond was produced by the talented Alan Tarney, who wrote and arranged Cliff's number one hit We Don't Talk Anymore and also produced Cliff's hit albums Wired For Sound, I'm No Hero, Always Guaranteed and Stronger. Alan has kindly donated his time and studio to this gift for Cliff.

Diamond has not been heard by Cliff and will stay a surprise for him until he plays it for the first time. Carol (London and Surrey Fan Club) came up with this wonderful idea and has gone to great lengths to make it a reality. The other tricky part was keeping it a surprise and only letting a handful of people hear it before him.

Just managed to buy a copy of this CD. Only 1,000 pressed, so it beats the other limited edition I bought recently - the Hank Marvin double album - by 500! Produced by the one and only Alan Tarney, it's gotta be worth £2.99.

It makes we wonder if Warren Bennett, for example, could get the original guitar, bass and drum tracks from the Shadows 1983 version of 'Diamonds' (removing all the pretty dire-sounding synths and electronic percussion) and do a similar thing with this? I'd buy it and it would be a nice way to mark THEIR 60th too!!!
