Thank you for your wishes.

My boss gave me a $100 gift certificate for McCabe's guitars.
They specialize in acoustic and stringed instruments. If you come to LA, you have to go there and visit, it's a must.
I saw Tommy Emmanuel there. He played there several times.

I took my cheap Chinese Gypsy student guitar ($350) and they graciously turned it in a $850 one and put a
It plays wonderfully now. They even put a Hot Spot pickup on it and all for ... $100.

Gypsy swing is back in my agenda now.

I'm sorry that I somehow missed this thread at Christmas, my friend. I was away from home over that period - that's my excuse!

Many congratulations on achieving your goal(s) - I know how exacting they were.

Hi Jim, that’s the place. Good to hear from you.

The NAMM is insane. Unless you prepare a month in advance, forget it.
It’s way too big now. Literally hundreds of guitar makers, gears, amps etc...

I saw the Gypsy Hot Club of Las Vegas, inspiring.
I’ll post some pictures.

Blessings,
Abel

We told you so ! ;)

That nice to hear) Many people after retirement think that they should rest, that is, slow walks, watching shows, simple games like https://duckdice.io/lottery Gradually, this routine delays, interests change and the desire to live decreases. That is why I am inspired by good examples to have a goal even after I become 60.
