Any members in the Whitehaven area?

I'm doing a bit of research and wondered if anyone on the site is from the Whitehaven area in Cumbria. I'm particulary interested in a night club we played down on the waterfront in 1976 - anyone?

I remembered the name of the club - The Zodiac . . . . The question is, who was the owner?

Yep I played there in April or May 76 loading up the fire escape was a nightmare
I remember the resident band (Marius?) on lead guitar) were vgood.
Did you stay at the farm?(good old pro digs)

Hi Roger, yes we did stay at the farm and Marius was the bass player if I remember correctly. We were there the third week in February 1976. It was an eventful week as we were offered for sale some 'bent' guitars that had been stolen from John Birch in Birmingham. You don't want to know the rest . . . .

Ahh THe good old days never having to worry where the next gig was coming from,
I knew Marius from a couple of years before When He was at Pontins Brean sands He was on guitar then
Remember the breakfasts at the farm.
