With effect from Tuesday 29th October 2019 we move to a new venue and hope to see any past and present members there.
We welcome visitors from other clubs.

Hi Roger I often think about the amount of times I've laughed at all the goings on at the Hankies Club, these days you are all very quiet, it would be great to get a update on all of you, not heard from Ecca for years............Hope every one is still healthy and fit... :)

Hi Derek, thanks for asking about us.

The club is still going along nicely, meeting every Tuesday and we do have good nights and not so good nights where attendance is concerned. I suppose if we held a once monthly meet, it would always be well attended. We have lost some players to illness and some quit playing or moved. This new location may breathe new life into us, as the last place was not really ideal for the club and the room was not right really for live music. I have been going for best part of 15 years now and Ecca a few years longer. We still have great fun and are still as keen as ever to play.

Since Facebook has come along, lots of guitarists are on there and we have our own page for the club. I guess that tends to make it quiet on here and Ecca likes his freedom of speech too ! So come and join our Facebook page Derek and anyone else. There is not a lot going on though other than a weekly role call for the next meeting.

Take care !
