Postby Jay Bass » Sun Nov 17, 2019 4:26 pm

Hi has anyone used a seperate rackmount feedback destroyer integrated into thier pa system
im looking for some advice as to where this would go in the chain
i am using a behringer xair18 digital mixer , into a active crossover, then into the power amps
i would pressume the feedback destroyer would be connected to the mixer outs then into the crossover
thanks

Jay,
Yes, after the mixer.

If you haven't bought one already, I've got a FBQ2496 that I was thinking of selling. Full working order, manuals, original box.

If you’re going to use one of these things here are some tips on how to get the best results:

Let it set 7 or 8 filters as a maximum.

If it sets any filter to narrower than 1/10 octave widen it.

If it sets any filter deeper than 6dB reduce the depth.

Lock all filters before any music goes through them.
