TVS Speciality Products Website

Postby scouserjoe2 » Wed Jan 03, 2024 6:51 pm

Hi,

I hope that I am posting this in the right place.

I today tried to access the TVS Website and obtained an error message from the hosting company saying that there was a problem with the site. Now I am fearful that the site has been shut down following the sad passing of Paul Rossiter last November. I could quite understand any decision to shut the site down but I have not seen nor heard any news to suggest that it has on any Shadows forum including the Perth one.

Have I missed any notification about the site's future or is this just a server error at the hosting company?

I would welcome any news because the site was a wonderful source of information and it will be sad to lose it as well as already having lost Paul.

Thanks in anticipation.

Ian

Hi Ian,

Sadly, I think you will find the website was closed down just before Christmas, as far as I know there was no notification given!

Hi Gary,

Thanks indeed Gary for the update. That's very sad news indeed. Another tragic loss for the community.

Regards,

Ian

A pity that this site was closed, there was a lot of interesting informations about the gear used by Hank over the years. I should have downloaded it !

that's a real shame - thanks for the link to the archive site - I tried to capture the article Paul had done on Hank's guitars - some of the photos weren't captured but getting some was better than nothing. what great work Paul did for all of our Shads enthusiasts.

It maybe that the hosting has lapsed. Does anyone have any connection with the family or friends? Would be great if it could be revived for posterity....

It was a business website and Paul had discontinued the TVS 3 before his sad passing, but Spike or Gary may read this and respond?
