OMG! Karen Gillan found all drunk whimpering in hotel corridor

Every so often we hear a story which we can confidently guarantee will make even the most stubborn of toes curl. This just might be one of those. Ready? So, during a promotional trip to New York, Karen Gillan was out and about enjoying a few tinnies with cast and crew of some show she is in called Doctor Who, heard of it? Things were getting merry and the poor lamb ended up having what could only have been one million too many, concluding her night naked, lost in the corridors of her swanky hotel knocking at random doors.

A source staying at the hotel told the Daily Mail of his shock sighting of a confused drunk stumbling around outside his room at 7am:

"I went to the peephole and looked out. I saw a man at the lift who was looking back at someone who was attempting to open my door.... Then I saw this young woman, completely naked, trying to wrap two towels around her and not having much luck.” Oh good lord of cringe…"She then started to whimper” However, Karen soon grew tired and instead settled down for a nice bit of kip. Yep, there in the hotel corridor. Wearing two wayward towels. “She knocked on my door. Seeing that she wasn't getting anywhere, she lay down with the towels covering her."

However, do not fear as security were soon on the scene, lending a sober hand to cover her decency and get her on her way back to her room safe and sound.

This got us thinking, just how would one end up butt naked in a hotel corridor? We can only fathom lovely Karen must have been attempting a drunk shower and got the wrong door, she probably thought the man’s door was the taps. No wonder she had a whimper.

Karen’s spokesperson is yet to comment. We think this explanation may take a while.

I've known it to happen at least twice, but always guys and not drunk, and it was prior to mobile phones, but it was easily done usually at exhibitions when a number of people from the same company were staying for a night or few for the duration:

Knock on the door from your mates, are you coming to the bar?, chap / chapess, but usually chap opens the door with just a towel round his waist and some wag gives the towel a quick tug, in an effort to protect his modesty forgets about the door closer, and there you have it almost naked ( or naked if the tug was successful )person the wrong side of a closed bedroom door.

It was quite a common prank, doesn't work now everybody has mobiles of course.

Pity really used to lighten the mood no end.
