Great band!

Several years ago, I bought a Manhattan [Sound Control own brand, I think] guitar which has a Jazzmaster body shape and control layout but Strat pickup configuration and trem. Sunburst finish, and possibly some connection to the Squier Jagmasters. One of those instances of buying a guitar just because I liked the look of it.

If we ever do Diamonds with the band, I shall offer it to Alan for that number...

Ah Yes Meshugga Beach Party, a fine surf band.

All their songs are Surf versions of Yiddish music.

They tend to poke a bit of good natured fun at the more orthodox, hence the beards, scarfs and hats (yamaka)

Re the 3 pick up Jag, Fender UK deny ever having produced them, either, here or in the USA. although if you watched Jools Holland's Amy Whinehouse tribute last night you would have spotted one on a stand from one of the bands. So that's two I've seen, in fact if they produced it as a standard I'd be tempted.
