Which do you find most difficult to play?

I have / had two personal Bete Noires - Stardust and Genie WTLBL.
I have cracked the Stardust and its as smooth as a Wrestlers Jockstrap now but for whatever reason I just CANNOT get Genie. Boy have I tried! Its a relatively easy tune too but somehow my fingers just wont play it.

I find anything with double-stops in frustrating, as it seems to me the moment i manage to get one part right, the other one drifts off! Kon-Tiki is one of my bete noirs, another is the bridge in TFYL, also the harmony lines in GWTLBL frequently defeat me.

And it's not just the Shads. Fixing A Hole, anybody?

I suppose I'll get by with a little help from my friends (except I usually can't play that either).

I found that doing a major scale with double stops starting off on the g on the sixth string b fifth string right up through all the strings up to the eight and seventh fret finishing off with g and b again. Once you learn the fingering, it is quick and easy to do them a few times a day til you get ease of movment right up and down the fingerboard. You can then change them around same as you would the normal run to make it sound more interesting and also different keys too. I had a few problems like the rest of you on here getting the double stops flowing til I did this exercise.
I also did the same with octaves too with great success.

Ah I've cracked that now!! I found that by shaving a .1000 from the leading edge of my G.Dennis red plectrum and changing the strings to cobalt plated with a wound 3rd, oh and slowing the speed of my meazzi and dropping everything by a major third i no longer have a problem. Maybe i should upgrade the Watkins dominator as well?

A year ago, I would not have understood a word of this conversation. Funny enough, now I understand it...I just can't play very well. A step in the right direction, though.
